Abodo produces high performance architectural and structural timbers, as designed by nature. Richards Partners collaborated with Abodo to reposition the brand narrative in order to reflect the companies deep respect for the timber, the people who use it and where it comes from. With a global outlook, Abodo needed a brand which would compete on the world stage and clearly communicate it’s ambition to architects and designers around the world.
A touchstone of the Abodo brand, the catalogue carefully describes in detail the current product range, with art directed photography and technical drawings alongside stories of Abodo products in use. Given to key customers, architects and designers this book serves as a manifestation of the new Abodo brand, with a tactile embossed front cover and exposed case binding.
Abodo's website was also a key deliverable for the new brand positioning. A reductive system of typography and colour highlights the stories and the timbers themselves. Carefully art directed photography ensures that Abodo's timbers are presented and understood by key customers. The website operates as both a sales tool and technical database for architects and designers to constantly refer back to.
