To announce its new performances at the beginning of each season, ATC release a printed publication every year. Targeting ATC’s loyal patrons and keen newcomers, the creative direction for the programme is completely revisited every time. This unique approach to creating a series of publications reflects the ever-changing, diverse landscape of theatre that takes the stage at ATC.
The 2017/18 season marked ATC’s 25th anniversary. Following suit, the season’s programme was designed with emotive photography, a bold colour palette and loud typography —announcing the season’s shows in a celebratory fashion.
Across all of its 69 pages, shiny coated stock and a dynamic, playful tone, the 2017/18 programme sets the scene for a glossy, lively celebration of New Zealand theatre and a proud 25 years for the Auckland Theatre Company.
